The workation takes place in Gagliano Aterno, a medieval gem in the Comunità Montana Sirentina, surrounded by mountains and untouched nature. Still rebuilding after the 2009 earthquake with quiet resilience, this is a village of authenticity and slow rhythms. And one rewriting its own future, as people and ideas converge to fight depopulation and shape what it becomes next.
Where we stay
You won't find us in a single hotel, resort-style building. We'll be spread across Gagliano Aterno itself, staying in local homes woven into the fabric of the village, each one comfortable and welcoming, each one keeping you close to the people and the life of the place, not sealed off from it.
Where we work
Our coworking space sits inside the restored Monastery of Santa Chiara, founded in 1286 and adapted for modern work as part of Gagliano Aterno's regeneration project. It's a striking, quiet setting, perfect for focus, and for the kind of exchange that happens between participants when the space itself invites it. The internet connection is fast and reliable, built for remote work without compromise.
The community that hosts us
Gagliano Aterno's community is active, welcoming, and deeply rooted in its land. After decades of decline, the village is growing again, driven by projects like NEO (welcoming young "temporary inhabitants"), the Renewable Energy Community project, the “Libri Ganzi” literary festival, and Radio Antiche Rue, a local web radio giving voice to the valley. It's a human context that turns this experience into more than a trip.

How much does it cost and how does payment work?
The Goditela workation costs CHF 750 if you choose to stay in a double room, sharing with another person, or CHF 900 if you prefer a single room. When booking, we ask for a 30% deposit to secure your place.
The remaining balance must be paid one month before departure. Payment can be made by credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and other widely used payment methods through a secure third-party payment platform.
What is included
The participation fee includes 7 nights of accommodation in a single or double room, including bed linen and towels; full board throughout the stay, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day; all activities listed as included, such as excursions, tastings, e-bike use, workshops, and more; access to the coworking spaces; internet connection; and liability, medical, and baggage insurance.
What is not included
Travel to and from the destination, any lunches or dinners outside the accommodation, extra activities such as massages or excursions not included in the program, and, in general, anything not specifically listed as included.
